Joogiveepumpade sertifitseerimine eeldaks paljude seaduslike nõuete täitmist ja see muudaks seadme liiga kalliks. Enamik selle kategooria pumpadest ja olmeveevarustussüsteemidest ei ole ette nähtud joogivee jaoks.

Sukelsurve- ja süvakaevupumbad sobivad kastmis- ja protsessivee pumpamiseks otse tsisternist või kaevust (selge vesi)

  • Automaatne juhtimine kombineerituna lülitusseadmega

Määrdunud vee all mõeldakse: setterikast voolavat vett, riimvett (soola- ja magevee segu), tulvavett, tiigivett (kui sisselaskmine ilma filtreerimiseta)

Määrdunud vesi on seega vesi, mille lisandina on keskkonnas hõljuv ja settinud aine.

Kodumajapidamiste veepumpade eeliseks on automaatne pumpamine. Tihti elektrooniliselt juhitav ja survepaagiga. Survepumbad annavad veesurvet, kuid sisse/välja lülitisüsteemiga. Näiteks aia vihmutussüsteemi käitamiseks.
